Where'd the Embed Builder go?
http://videojs.com/embed-builder/ doesn't resolve. 404. Bring it back or the kitten dies.

This is a very good question. This builder is referenced in Lynda.com.

is there a problem if I give a link to another quick embed builder for flow player ?
12 Posted by barrya on 16 Feb, 2012 10:55 PM
I couldn't see why posting a link to a flowplayer embed builder would be a problem, but for people that want to put together a video quick using video.js, I'm not sure you can use that embed builder interchangably.
I think many of the people who are using video.js are using it because of it's HTML5 video compatibility, future proofing, and flash fallback (that's why I was doing it). If I remember right, flowplayer is a flash skin with a huge amount of options for playback, branding, playlists, ads, and some javascript detection to give those not running flash the right video. I didn't need those options, and you need to purchase a license to get rid of their branding.

Steve,
Thanks for the great tutorial on Lynda. I am excited about using the embed builder. I can certainly use the code from there and cut and paste, but the builder seems a lot better. Any idea on when you might get it up again?

any timeline on the return of the embed-builder??
18 Posted by Ken Smithers on 20 Mar, 2012 08:34 PM
Hi steve,
It appears to me that since the embed building was on line and working fine... and you took it down, that something else is going on here like code copywrite or something. Why not just be honest and tell us you will not be putting it up again or direct us to anothe place.
I am going to cancil my lydia membership and look for my solutions elsewhere.
Sorry, the videos are excellent, but professional fees require the whole package.
Ken

It's back! http://videojs.com/tag-builder/
Took some late nights and weekends and a less than happy wife, but it's back and better than before. Enjoy, and let me know if you have any feedback.
Cheers,

Is the tag builder the same animal as the embed-builder? It sure doesn't look the same? I am also a Lynda.com user and was surprised when using the URL listed in the text of the course took me to something completely different?
